I have sold jewelry and other items to Neil Buys over the last few months. The staff has been friendly, courteous, and professional. They have always given me a fair price. Most recently I sold them 2 RIAA platinum record plaques. After all the oohhh-ing and ahhh-ing I was treated respectfully and fairly.

I had a great experience here and was very happy with Neil’s appraisal. He makes the process as easy as can be, without wasting anyone’s time. Neil is knowledgeable and has built his business on a solid reputation, which I found to be well-deserved. I was glad he had armed security there, who were very courteous. One guard volunteered to watch me get back into the car and did not go back inside until we drove off, which was much appreciated. I read the negative reviews but not one reflects my experience in any way whatsoever. I find that treating others with respect generally will result in a more pleasant experience for all, and I suspect that may have had something to do with some of these interactions. If you are considering selling your gold or silver, I highly recommend Nevada Coin Mart and Neil Sackmary. His team was very friendly too. Went in over the weekend, took the family. Was able to pick up silver and some copper. Had my kids pick out some silver. Really good prices.

I had a very nice very expensive watch given to me by my grandfather when he passed. This watch was worn as a working man’s watch. He wore it everyday. It was not in working order and once opened it was clear it had some damage inside and the sapphire crystal had a small Crack and also needed to be replaced before it would be in any condition to sell. I don’t wear watches and just really don’t like things on my wrist or fingers for that matter. I certainly didn’t want to put $1100-$1300 into it to sell it. Neis team and staff were very knowledgeable (I had gotten an estimate elsewhere prior) and explained everything to me in great detail. I was able to sell my grandfather’s watch to them at a price I was very happy with and felt good about the transaction after leaving the store. Thank you guys my experience was a very positive one and I rarely write positive reviews mostly only if I had a bad experience.

Got a second opinion on gold coins that had been in the family for a long time. I’m glad I did. Neil gave me $280 more than the guy up the street and gave me the straight scoop on a commemorative coin that the competitors told me was not 1oz gold. It was. I was in and out in 20 minutes and felt very comfortable doing business there. Get a 2nd opinion but, make sure that Nevada Coin Mart is one of them.

It took me a while to finally go there since it’s a distance from where I live and I didn’t think my things would amount to much. I was really surprised and happy to get $520 for some costume chains & rings, jewelry I no longer used and some my mom left after her passing, even broken chains and earrings that were missing one side 🙂 The staff are nice & friendly…a great place to go after cleaning out your jewelry box!

I have been here twice so far to sell my rare coins, and I have plans to do more business deals with this Neil Buys location. They have beaten all other quotes I’ve been given thus far, and trust me I do my research. So definitely get a quote from them if you plan on selling your gold or silver rare coins. Plus they say you can get a quote for your goods just by sending in a text with a picture and they will send you back a quote from what they see. Real nice if you ask me.

My experience at Nevada Coin Mart was outstanding. Neil introduces himself immediately, reaffirms there is no pressure to buy or sell anything (which was true), and appraised Rolex watches and many gold coins. Payment for Rolexes was better than I anticipated and had previously been offered elsewhere. Payment was very fair and prompt with checks in our hands upon leaving. Overall a very pleasant, comfortable, secure, and private exchange of precious metals into cash. Will go back again when I sell more coins in future.

We started out being helped by a regular associate, then Neil came over and took care of us and was very helpful! He’s a good guy and will tell you like it is whether you want to hear it or not.

They were very knowledgeable and helping with my coins.

I stopped by the shop today to try to sell 3 ounces of gold. They gave me a very fair offer but it was just under what I needed to sell. The security guard greeted me and showed me what window to wait by. The guys behind the desk were also nice and accommodating and even offered me a water while I waited on a quote. I’d also like to point out I have seen in other comments that the store is “in the ghetto”. It’s absolutely not in the ghetto. If you want the ghetto of Las Vegas drive until you find a single letter street (D street). Then you are in the hood. Anyway I ended up not selling my gold but was very impressed and was treated perfectly fine and was given a fair offer. Just wanted to thank the workers there for being great. I’ll be back in the future.

Neat place, due to being a big name coin store in a large city, the shop has some pretty cool and even some rare stuff, from collectible memorabilia to gold and silver coins and bullion you can’t find anywhere online. It’s rare that I take the time to review a business…like many people I only do so if something was exceptionally awful or exceptionally awesome. And I can count the latter experiences on one hand & still have fingers left.

People in Neil’s business often get a bad rep but I can say with 100% confidence that if anyone walks away from an encounter with Neil feeling anything other than gratitude for what a rare gem he is, then the problem is with them…NOT HIM! He goes above & beyond to earn your business & it’s obvious in merely a single transaction with him that he truly doesn’t want it any other way. If not for the sheer size of Las Vegas, Neil would put all of his competitors out of business in a heartbeat. He’s not just fair & respectful but he also genuinely cares about helping his customers.

All the people complaining that he didn’t buy their item or about what he offered for it don’t have the common sense to recognize that he didn’t get where he is by not knowing his business…& as such, should ask themselves if they’d be willing to risk their livelihood on acquiring inventory that they can’t move or merely break even on. Business 101 people!

Best coin shop in VEGAS hands down!! Went to several other coin and pawn shops while we were here in town from out of state. And let me tell you those other places are a joke! Asking 1k over spot on 1oz gold rounds, asking double what a half oz and quarter oz coin is worth. These guys sold me a NICE coin for slightly over spot. Was a safe easy and professional experience. The whole entire experience was super easy, super quick. I have a few bars of silver I’ve been stacking over the years and was very curious just how “liquid” physical metals can be. It’s easy to buy but how easy to sell? So I decided today I’m gonna offload a bar just to see. Nick who assisted me offered a fair price very close to spot. Walked in here on a whim looking for some coins. Walked out pretty happy. A very vegas-ey atmosphere with more oddities than you could look through in a day. Something for everybody here. Adan is a good sales person without being pushy. The prices are average. We all know the margins are razor thin on bullion so I understand. I’d imagine if you did some volume biz here or really looked around the place you would find some deals. Looking forward to picking up some more bullion. Just wanted to say thank-you to Neil (the owner), as well as all of his staff and security guards at the Nevada Coin Mart. Both my husband and I (Lisa & Ed) always enjoy our visits to the store and as buyers, we always appreciate the high level of customer service we receive with each visit. Regardless of whether we are directly negotiating prices with Neil, the owner of the store, or his employees, we always leave happy with the items we have purchased and the prices we have paid. We have shopped around several of the ‘coin’ retailers located around the Las Vegas and Henderson areas and we can honestly say that the Nevada Coin Mart’s premiums on both silver and gold products are extremely fair and very competitive compared to those other retailers. We very much look forward to our next visit.

Unlike the similarly named NV Coin & Jewelry nearby, we weren’t treated like dirt. The security guard at the front was helpful and welcoming, and so was the man who evaluated our jewelry. When we asked questions, they were patient & not condescending. Our appraisal was also fair and quick.

I cannot express how thrilled I was to find this business. My friend was in need, and had some old silverware. We stopped at Nevada Coin Mart on our way to a donation bin just to see what it might be worth. My friend left with a pocketbook full of cash! Her old silverware was truly silverware, and worth a large amount because of its weight. We felt safe, and had an epic experience.

This guy is alright. Because of me he held his first Frank Muller watch. His reaction was priceless. He has an awesome rock collection. But most of all he put my mind at ease by testing my gold concentrates for any toxic materials. Thats a stand up gentleman. Don’t bring him dirt, that is insulting by any means. I came here and bought 5 grams of gold and 1 oz of silver and and everything was okay, until I got my Receipt, and it showed that I paid for 1 oz of silver for the total of both, and personally I prefer to have both the gold and the silver for legal reasons, I can change my review if this here can be fixed, because I just dont feel comfortable knowing that the gold isn’t shown. UPDATE: I emailed them and they ended up fixing my Receipt so now I feel more secure about it, thank you for that, I highly appreciate it.

We went into Nevada Coin Mart because they are a location where I could buy fundraiser merchandise from the Injured Police Officers Fund. I met Neil and during our discussion I told him that my family may come into possession of a large coin collection in the near future. I have no knowledge of rare coin values. I had coins and jewelry to sell that I Inherited from my father. I was nervous going to a coin store and didn’t know want to expect. The second I walked in the door my concerns vanished. I took some real nice looking silver and gold looking silverware in to the coin mart, it was beautiful!! I was hoping to see a lot of money for it. They determined that it was merely plated not solid silver, and the still offered me some money for it!!! I had some regular looking silver ware at home that we use, so I just decided to keep the beautiful plated stuff and use it instead of selling it!!! The guys at the coin mart supported my decision, and said that’s what they would have done too!! Thease guys are just down right cool dudes!!

We have been to Neil’s business several times now. He has always explained everything to us as to what is real and what is costume and the value of all. No pressure to sell to him. They really have their act together. I was offered next to nothing for my product by the other buyer but this place took their time and bought my product for a price that is more than fair.
