CAC Coin Grading
CAC was formed to combat inconsistencies and over-grading coins in coin grading services and put an end to overgrading coins in hobby. Although CAC Stickering made an impressionful statement about coin collecting as an industry, John Albanese and Ron Drzewucki sought more. They assembled over 150 leading members of numismatic community with one purpose in 2022: Reclaiming accuracy and consistency through Grading Services rather than Appraising/Evaluating already certified coins with our Stickering service ( our Stickering service).
CAC boasts one of the industry’s finest coin grading teams–John Albanese, Ron Drzewucki and John Butler are just three–so all submitted coins are graded with expertise so hobbyists, collectors, dealers and investors have complete trust in CAC-graded coins.
Coin Stickering
John Albanese joined 22 leading members of the numismatic community in 2007 to form Certified Acceptance Corporation, or CAC for short. CAC accepted coins graded by other firms but certified only those considered of superior quality with either green or gold stickers; soon these stickers came to be seen as representing the pinnacle standard for certified coins on rare coin markets worldwide and attained an increasingly premium price point.
